Don't Be Afraid of the Dark Poster Reaches for Greatness
FilmDistrict, who is aiming for an August 26 release, has now unveiled the official poster for the Troy Nixey-directed nightmare that "follows Sally (Bailee Madison), a young girl who moves to Rhode Island to live with her father (Guy Pearce) and his new girlfriend (Katie Holmes) in the 19th-century mansion they are restoring. While exploring the house, Sally starts to hear voices coming from creatures in the basement whose hidden agenda is to claim her as one of their own."
The poster "reaches" for greatness, hopefully they'll send over a hi-res version later this afternoon. Dig on it inside along with the full trailer. Also keep your eyes on the official website and Facebook for more soon.
