Coming hit off the heel’s of AMC’s record breaking show The Walking Dead, it appears as if Fox has took notice and are spearheading a TV show for the 2009 zombie comedy Zombieland.
According to The Hollywood Reporter Fox and Sony Pictures Television are developing a half hour TV show based on the movie with Gavin Polone. The project is said to be written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Unfortunately as it looks like the TV is going ahead, Polone told the site that the TV would “replace a big-screen follow-up.â€
The show is looking to be put into development for the 2012-13 broadcast season, so stay tuned for more on another zombie TV show. Also, MTV’s faith in it’s own zombie TV show Death Valley as they have optioned to move the show to an 11pm time slot on Mondays.
