Paramount Pictures roller-coaster of a ride World War Z has had its fair share of bad patches but perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel. Deadline reports Marc Forsters zombie apocalypse World War Z is back on track and is set to begin filming this Summer.
Due to the budget being a staggering $125 million the film was going no where but apparently Paramount Pictures has bought in a couple of partners including David Ellison’s Skydance which has given the movie the green light.
Also according to the site Mireille Enos (Above right) the star of AMC’s The Killing has been cast as Karin Lane the wife of Gerard Lane (Brad Pitt) in the big scrren adaptation of Max Brooks novel of the same name.
There is no word if the studio is still planning to go ahead with the PG-13 route so lets just hope they have done away with that silly idea and give us the R- rated stamp this adaptation surely deserves.
